Ottawa 2017 and Beau’s Brewing Company partner for our country’s birthday celebrations

Ottawa – The Ottawa 2017 Bureau and Mayor Jim Watson, in collaboration with lead partner CIBC, are pleased to welcome Beau’s Brewing Company as the Official Beer Partner of Ottawa 2017 and announce that Beau’s Lug Tread will be the Official Beer for Canada’s 150th anniversary celebrations in the nation’s capital.
Beau’s will add an Ottawa 2017 flair to their award-winning flagship beer, the Lug Tread Lagered Ale, with branded neck wraps to salute the celebrations. Other marketing initiatives include promotion in local restaurants and bars, distribution and visibility across Canada, and hundreds of thousands of celebratory coasters. The patriotically packaged pint will be available in the coming weeks wherever Beau’s is sold.
In 2017, Beau’s will collaborate with partners across Canada, including Ottawa’s Big Rig and Kichesippi craft breweries, to create a special beer each month in honour of Canada’s sesquicentennial.

The announcement comes as Beau’s reaches a milestone of its own. Canada’s largest craft producer of organic beer will mark its tenth anniversary on July 1, 2016.
