Ottawa 2017

End of June – September

Take part in Kontinuum: an ultimate underground experience with a futuristic and immersive multimedia production created by none other than Moment Factory and projected in one of Ottawa’s future Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations.

The Confederation Line of Ottawa’s new LRT service is scheduled to launch in 2018. To showcase this innovative mode of travel and to build anticipation for this new era of transportation in the nation’s capital, the Lyon Station will be open to the public for a free, momentum-building multi-media journey in the summer of 2017.

The production, which will run for a period of approximately ten weeks, will highlight this once-in-a-generation infrastructure project, its role in transforming Ottawa, and will galvanize Ottawans’ support and anticipation for the LRT network one year before it officially opens.

The full concept of this spectacular sound and light fantasy voyage will be revealed soon. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek!

The announcement took place in the former Place de Ville theatre, where spectators’ experience will begin upon their arrival in 2017.
