Ottawa 2017

Saturday, August 19

Tickets on sale Friday, May 26 @ 10 a.m

Participants will see the best of what agricultural technology has to offer and learn about the innovation that brings common food and plants from farm to home.

Fallowfield Tree Farm will explain how you can transform your lawn or town park from a sunny field to a shady arbour with the help of a gigantic mechanical tree spade. Then Schouten Cornerview Farms will offer a tour of their anaerobic digester and demonstrate the ways in which it improves their farm with cutting edge recycling. North Gower Grains’ gargantuan grain elevators give a great idea of just how much grain is grown in the Ottawa region. Velthuis Farms will show visitors where the cows that grace the milk containers really live.
