Ottawa 2017

Ottawa 2017 has quadrupled the funding available through the City of Ottawa’s Civic Events Funding Program, an existing grants program that helps neighbourhoods mark statutory holidays throughout the year.

We’re very proud that communities in every ward will be part of the celebrations for our country’s 150th anniversary. Residents and visitors will be able to get a taste of our culture in the heart of each community, as we celebrate everything that is great about our country through these close to 50 bigger and better local celebrations.

All events are open to the public and presented free of charge. They are:
