ATTENTION ATTENTION FOODIES! YOU MUST READ THIS!
We’ve set the table for Canada’s birthday with unique culinary experiences featuring our Ottawa 2017 flavour.
SugarLumberFest – April 8
Embrace your inner-gourmet-lumberjack at SugarLumberFest, a huge urban sugar shack at Lansdowne!
Indulge on a non-traditional gourmet menu prepared by Rituel’s Chef Jean-Philippe Ménard, enjoy baked beans served hot from the kettle and pour maple syrup straight from our maple tree. Take part in the outdoor festivities – such as a lumberjack competition, where even mini lumberjacks (12 years-old and under) can participate in the challenges – and stop by the hot chocolate and maple taffy bars. Tickets on sale now here.
Sky Lounge – July 7 to 22
Heighten your senses (literally!) with this culinary adventure, where you will be taken 150 feet in the air to discover Ottawa’s fine dining like never before.
Treat yourself to Feast+Revel’s Chef Stephen La Salle and his team’s appetizing creations — while enjoying a spectacular view of the nation’s capital.
Canada’s Table – August 27
Imagine: a single, 1000-person, open-air table on Wellington. Pretty cool, eh? Add to that a four-course dinner with wine pairing prepared by top local and Canadian chefs! Even cooler!
The cherry on the cake, this is a non-profit event where proceeds raised will be used to aid local and national food security causes. This succulent event is also presented in collaboration with Restaurateur Stephen Beckta and Chef Mike Moffatt of Beckta, Play and Gezellig restaurants, along with Sheila Whyte of Thyme & Again Catering.
How can you not pull up a chair to Canada’s Table? Tickets will be going on sale in the coming weeks.
