With the frantic pace at which the O2017 preparations are going, we tend to forget the magical everyday moments that are as much a part of the adventure as the milestones we’ve achieved. From team meetings in the hallway, impromptu snack breaks (especially exciting when chocolate is involved), brainstorming sessions that seem to go nowhere but somehow culminate in brilliant ideas, the tricks we play on one another to the joy of reuniting on Monday morning (yes, it happens, you can actually look forward to work after the weekend)… the list goes on and on.
As we look back on the memories we’ve made along the way, we invite you to dive into our captivating, absurd, complex and exciting little world.
WARNING: keep in mind that a touch of madness doesn’t do any harm, especially when it comes to organizing the biggest party in the country.
We have several team traditions, but one that’s undoubtedly dear to our hearts is the group photo taken at announcements, which is done in two phases: Normal and Craaaaaazy. (Can you tell who didn’t stick to the theme?)
Our team also loves to send each other crazy selfies.
Meetings in a beige boardroom… no thanks. Our favourite spot: the carpet!
Some could be qualified as clandestine…
… or just very pensive. It’s not easy figuring out how a dragon can cross the city.
And when we check-off a box in our famous planning chart, it feels like Christmas.
Birds of a feather flock together!
We thought we’d have to survive on coffee for the next 18 months, but quickly realized that our go to drink would be Red Bull – even for our two colleagues who never drank any before.
It’s one thing to survive on energy drinks, oxygenating our brains has also great benefits. Since we moved into our new office, some of us go for a neighbourhood jog at lunchtime, while others go for a stroll to get gelato. Either way, we’re still getting some fresh air… right? And if you forget your running shoes, we’re bringing the gelato to you!
Who’s never lost a USB key, or taken one that isn’t theirs? Almost everyone, except for Heather, who found the perfect solution: a Mini-Heather.
Small team, big projects. Sometimes, the “all other related tasks” included in our job description takes a whole new meaning, and not a glamorous one. 😉
It enables us to develop new skills. Who knows, in 2018, we may become IT experts, professional bowling players, or public entertainers.
We love welcoming guests. Even our four-legged friends.
We take birthdays very seriously here. Although we’re celebrating Canada’s anniversary, we make time for our colleague’s bdays too.
Accredited testers, yes m’dmam! Especially when it’s time to try out the new promo items.
SUGAR! MORE SUGAR! GIVE US MORE SUGAR!
Which often results in an excess of energy.
Guy on his scooter… is everything. What can we say, our boss is a BOSS!
So this is it! We hope our crazy antics haven’t scared you away and that you feel a little more like a part of the team.
